I ordered this bed in August of 2021 for a cross-country move that was happening in November of the same year. It arrived in 9 boxes and I felt like it might be a bit much to take on assembly-wise, so I hired some third-party assemblers (not associated with Murphy Beds NYC) from a local Murphy Bed retailer in the San Diego Area. The end result looks great and goes very well with the things that I already had in my place! It looks just like the photo on the site (I bought the orange version -- see my attached picture), and the build quality is superb - plus it opens up my small living space (I stay in a studio apartment)!
The answer to the ultimate question of, "Would I buy it again?" is Y-E-S.
My one sincere tip for anyone considering buying: Unless you really know what you're doing (including baseboard removal to get the unit flush against the wall), I would recommend putting in the extra cash for professional assembly on this one. This took professional installers about 7 hours total to complete (that's not including their lunch break) - and they were working very efficiently the entire time and clearly knew what they were doing. That's not a gripe about the assembly time, just an honest detail about assembly. It was money well spent to make sure that I got a final product worthy of what I was seeing in the promo image.
