Given that both my husband and I work remotely, we found ourselves utilizing our guest bedroom as a shared home office. Since the bed in that room was only used occasionally by guests, we made the decision to optimize the space for our daily work needs while still keeping it available for my mom's use. This led us to the brilliant idea of incorporating a Murphy bed, allowing us to effectively utilize the room for our work activities and easily transform it into a comfortable guest space when needed.
Amazing wall bed and really easy to set up! My fiance put it together by himself, I only helped him with the top. I use this desk daily for my online synchronous school and it's pretty sturdy though I wouldn't trust a lot of weight on it. It's really nice looking put together and opening and closing it is really easy. Highly recommend.
I have mixed feelings about the bed. The final product seems great but it was not easy at all to build and requires at least two people. Keep in mind that some parts are sold separately (the wall attachments) and ours had an abnormality that prevented two pieces from fitting together so we had to buy a metal sander to file it down. Luckily that worked but it caused headaches. Also, the instructions are loosely translated to English (I think from Russian), so some of it is not coherent. With all of that, we did successfully put it together but be aware it will take a lot of time and patience to build. The final product does look nice and the desk function is great which is why I have it a 4/5 stars.
We absolutely love our new Elara Longa with Desk! We replaced a soft bed in a master room with this bed and now the room looks really nice and give us so much more room when the bed is not in use. The instructions were good and we had no problems putting it together. I would recommend this company to my friends - this is a good quality bed.
