To fold out the bed, you simply pull on the handle and flip the support leg down onto the floor. No heavy lifting or pulling is required thanks to the hydraulic system. The pistons are calibrated in order for the weight of the mattress to keep the bed open.

I bought my son's bed from this place, and initially, I had some doubts because I wasn't familiar with the company. However, after reading the reviews, my concerns were alleviated. I have been thoroughly pleased with everything. The prices were fair, the delivery was fast, and the bed itself is excellently crafted.

Murphy Bed NYC was very easy to work with. I got this Light Oak bed for my studio apartment and it's fantastic. I have been using it for a few weeks now so I decided to write the review. The bed seems to be sturdy and well made, hopefully that equates to durability as well.
Assembly was done by the Setup team and they were very professional. I recommend to all.

I absolutely love my new murphy bed. I got the queen sized bed. It is beautiful, comfortable, easy to operate and very sturdy. I just installed it a few days ago and had friends visit over the weekend; they want one now. The bed came in a few boxes, it is heavy but well packaged. The directions were easy to follow. You do need at least 2 people to help with installation especially if you are not an installation specialist. The bed is compact and very current looking and the finish is beautiful, (I got the Light Oak). I like it even more than I thought I would. The straps keep the mattress and sheets in place. It is such a huge upgrade from a pull out sofa. I set mine up in my art studio to create a multi-purpose room. If you are on the fence, go ahead and order this bed, you will be glad you did! I might get another one in a different color to create a guest room in my finished basement!

Outstanding Quality

Ordering this bed has been the right decision. This is my first time buying a bed online without even testing it out.
First of all, the company was extremely responsive and cared about my experience. They answered all of my questions in a timely matter and were reassuring.
Secondly, the bed is easy to use, comfy and beautiful. Pretty good mechanism. The Light Oak frame with Orange sofa is a great mix. If you're thinking of buying a unique, yet, comfy bed, look no further than this!
